What to do with this hair.

Q.DO you have extremely dry hair? (is it curly and chemically processed?) and no matter what conditioner you use it it just doesnt help? well we here we know just the thing....(cuz we're so special.)

A.Curly hair is already drier than straight hair, and in this case, the chemical process has already weakend the cuticle, making it more vulnurable to dryness, breakage, and split ends. Our four best mousterizing tricks: 1.Be extera careful to always use moisturizing hair products, especially shampoo. See some shampoo's have harsh detergants that can overdry your curls. So check your bottle and make sure you're buying a shampoo thats labeled "gentle" or "moisturizing," or that is specifically made for curly/chemically processed hair (try Redken Fresh Curls Shampoo,$8, 800 Redken-8). These shampoos have specially moisturizing ingrediants your curls need to keep them in the best condition.

2. Dont shampoo every 2 to 3 dayz-washing every day will overdry your hair.

3. Head over to your stylist and have her trim at least an inch off your ends (where your hair is most dryand damaged) every 4 to 6 weeks.

4. In addition to using conditioner for curly chemically processed hair whenever you shampoo use a deep conditioning treatment packed with protein twice a week (Try Thermasilk Intensive Conditioning Thermal Wrap, $8, at drugstores) The extera protein will help keep hair's cuticle healthy and shiney. Just wash and condition as usual, apply deep conditioner from roots to ends leave it on for about 20 min, then rinse out and style.
